He hasn't exactly done much for our defense.

Hope we got a decent fee for him, probably 'undisclosed' though.....

Bring in Clint Hill ASAP, imo.

I’m not sure that’s fair on Fleming. I reckon he did improve us from woeful to average. We can be fairly resilient without scoring many goals and that’s credit to the defence.

Barnsley nearly scored from one of our corners yesterday and it reminded me how often we used to concede like that and how rare it is now. That is a tangible Ollie/Fleming improvement.

During Flemings stay, Robinson has improved immeasurably.

How about putting Ramsey in charge of all the coaching so that youth ,u23s and first team are all learning the same things? Would help the youngsters integrate imho

FFP cost cutting now we're ten points clear of the bottom three?

He's taken a promotion where the training ground is 20 minutes from where his family live for a club he used to play for. Nothing to do with FFP. Good luck to him.

Shame if true. I think he has done a good job.

I'm sure most defensive coaches would try to get 5 lined up across the back, two defensive midfielders in front of the centre backs and the wide midfielders doubling up with the full backs.

But Curtis seems to have worked with Ollie well.
Come on you Sooopa ........

It’s very hard to quantify how important backroom staff are, but I’m a little concerned by this news. We were SO bad at the back before he came in. It’s not like we’re good going forward but we’re at least competent at the back. I hope that doesn’t change now he’s gone.

Cheers, makes sense. I only asked because after all the recent player departures it was mention previously that we have so many backroom staff. But that was a focus on what Les does etc.
