You do wonder if we'll see him play again.

He is very injury prone. Hope this sort's it out for him - but I'm not holding my breath. To get a decent consistent side, you can't rely on players who are missing more than they are available. Is he really any better than the rest when he's fit anyway?

Re: Grant Hall - out for season
He was excellent last season playing the sweeper role but I am not sure that Ollie would still play him there.
Hopefully his knee operation will finally sort him out and get him fully fit.

He'd be a starter without a question imo.
Is this related to the tendonitis or a different issue?

Tendinitis, also known as tendonitis, is the inflammation of a tendon. It happens when a person overuses or injures a tendon, for example, during sport. It is normally linked to an acute injury with inflammation.
The body part that is involved may give the injury its name, for example, Achilles tendinitis. Familiar terms are tennis or golfer's elbow, housemaids or jumper's knee, and pitcher's shoulder.

Not sure he played Sweeper.

Hall's a CB who is quite good on the ball. Has played a little as a DCM but, for me, he's best at CB.

Definitely a CB who looks fairly comfortable on the ball - club did well to get Jack Robinson back playing and hopefully they can do the same with Grant Hall too - good player.

It's a shame really as I would love to see Hall and Robinson as a CB pairing....
2018/2019.... Keep Calm, no matter the season, we'll follow our team.....

Re: Grant Hall - out for season
Terrible news.
I’m starting to fear for if we’ll ever see him play regularly again. He just can’t seem to stop breaking down.
As mentioned, the club have done very well with Robinson... let’s hope for the same again.

Weirdly he played in today's U23s game? Maybe the new injury isn't as bad as reported
