Yeah but Gerrard's better... |
Apples and oranges.
Carrick's a deep lying play maker like Pirlo, albeit inferior. Gerrard's a box to box midfielder. |

Oh no!
He's a racist!
| Quote: | | On 25 January 2011, during the 2011 AFC Asian Cup semi-final match between Japan and South Korea, Ki scored the opening goal through a penalty kick.[27] Ki created controversy with his goal celebration by pulling a monkey face and scratching his cheek in front of a pitch-side camera in an allegedly racist slur at Japanese people.[28] Ki initially defended his goal celebration through a Twitter post claiming that he was annoyed at having seen a Rising Sun Flag in the stadium.[29] Ki then claimed that the celebration was a reference to alleged racist abuse he had received during Scottish Premier League games from opposition fans, but the chief executive of Show Racism the Red Card expressed scepticism about this.[29] Asian Cup tournament director Tokuaki Suzuki said that no action will be taken on part of the AFC and that FIFA has not contacted the AFC regarding the matter |

He was only doing it because the cameraman accused him of accusing the cameraman of being a racist. That's what Ashley Cole told me anyway. _________________ If you cannot bring good news then don't bring any. |

I'm happy with the signing of Park as he is a midfielder with proven pedigree.
But is there a risk with this fella that we're signing players based first and foremost on their nationality, with the business interests of the owner being the key driver rather than those of the club? |
Seen him play for Celtic a few times. Have no fear. Stand by to be impressed. _________________ If you cannot bring good news then don't bring any. |

I heard he ran rings around Ross County midfielders. |

| Quote: | The agency of Celtic's South Korea international Ki Sung-Yueng has confirmed they are in negotiations with QPR regarding a move to the Premier League club.
The 23-year-old central midfielder has been linked with a move away from Glasgow throughout the off-season, with speculation mounting about a switch to QPR last week with the club confirming a Korean would join on Monday.
Rangers unveiled Park Ji-Sung instead of Ki, however rumours have persisted with QPR owner Tony Fernandes admitting at Monday's press conference they were interested in the former FC Seoul man.
Ki's agency confirmed to Korean reporters that a deal with the Premier League club is currently being discussed.
"It's true that talks with QPR are in progress, but nothing has been decided yet," Ki's agency said in a statement according to The Chosun Ilbo.
Fernandes had said on Monday: “He is a player we will be watching and also monitoring closely.”
Ilgan Sports had reported on Wednesday that QPR and Celtic have agreed a deal, with negotiations on personal terms still being discussed.
“QPR has completed a deal with Celtic for Ki Sung-Yueng’s transfer and the two sides are currently negotiating over his salary,” the Ilgan Sports source said.
“Ki Sung-Yueng’s side and the clubs are all positive about the transfer, so it is virtually a done deal. Ki will play in the English Premier League.”
QPR, who avoided relegation on the final day last campaign, have already signed Park, Ryan Nelsen, Andy Johnson, Robert Green and Fabio da Silva this off-season. |

Also, apparently he's got quite a few mates who are Japanese and some of them are actually pretty decent people...
Or something.... |
