I forgot. Bah! Colleague of mine won it a few years ago and he knows sfa about cricket.
I'd have Alex Hales, Joe Denley and Gareth Berg in my team. I guess that puts me in with my colleague.
Whom have you got, oh bloke who looks like an extra from Fiddler on the Roof? _________________ I'm Ray Gardner. I drink Blackcurrant Tango. Come and get me! |

I've gone for the two all-rounder option, and thankfully so:
Batsmen:
Trescothick
Carberry
Maynard
Ali
Bowlers:
Murtagh
Kirby
Khan
Joseph
WK:
Ambrose
AR:
Wagg
Yardy
Wagg and Yardy have both earned me lots of points the past two days. Maynard did well last week. Trescothick has been the only disappointment so far, mainly because I've had him as my captain, but we all know he will come good and I imagine many others have doen the same.
I wanted Alex Hales, but alas, couldn't afford him. Plus, you seem to do much better with bowlers than batsmen, particularly bowlers who can bat a little. _________________ 'Live every week like it is shark week' |

Lots of solid performers in there, most of whom will be there for most of the games. Carberry has just got run out. I see that if they've had well-documented mental health issues, you pick 'em. Dial M will get you a few, I fancy.
Now, pitch inspector to Cardiff? _________________ I'm Ray Gardner. I drink Blackcurrant Tango. Come and get me! |

Some random questions/comments
Whereabouts is Michael Carberry playing these days? I used to select him when he played for Hants. Had potential, not fulfilled as yet!
When I dabbled in such things, I would usually mess up my substitutions, often forgetting to press the confirm button. It was always fun though and one thing that tended to work well for me was to have a seam bowler (in the style of Mssr. Caddick) as captain for the first two months then switch to an opener (Tresser was great for years) and then a new overseas seamer for the last few months.
It didn't seem to matter too much though if you didn't select Ramps, and after he went all oval I couldn't bring myself to do it. _________________ English is my second language - I don't have a first |

wonder if he got booed today?...was beginning to regret not paying £16 to watch but on the evidence of the scorecard todays' events would test the patience of the purist's puristzzzzzzzzz _________________ 'I feel sorry for people who don't drink. Carberry's at Hants.
Yeah, I went for experience over youth. I don't think I'm going to be winning any money, but it's a bit of fun.
In the space of 30 seconds this afternoon Carberry was run out and Tresco trapped LBW. Still, Amjad Khan hit a brisk 28 to help me out, just need him to take a couple this evening. _________________ 'Live every week like it is shark week' |
