I'm guessing you are waiting for the heel to clip Ken round the head as it slips further.

I'm getting near to a thousand posts now and I only started posting on this board in April

A nice feature though DG.

Hey Drew - doesn't that discriminate against us more occasional posters (otherwise known as 'those with lives' )?

Can't you bring back the sponsor tag or something?

I'm only kidding really, but my fifty or so posts look so weedy. Better pull my finger out!

There is a sponsor tag but only at present for the shirt for Shabbazz.

It's a very good point though.

Many several have sponsored this site over the past few months and totally agree with you they need recognition.

(cogs turning......)

I will deffo sort something out.

"Rank System"

From Don's comments DG, it sounds like he thinks the ratings are quite rank and not reflective of the community at large.

Next thing we'll be introducing Karma points ...

Nice one. I've been on other boards that have this and it's a fun gimmick that goes down really well. Just one suggestion. How about instead of level numbers, we use QPR related titles such as names of players, managers and chairmen going from legendary ones for high post counts through memorable, respected, immemorable and infamous players. Am I right in thinking you could have as many levels as you like? We could all contribute names to be used as levels and then sort them into an appropriate order. The more levels you have the less likely you'll get posters pushing their post counts to achieve new levels, since they'll be naturally changing levels more often anyway. I'd suggest 10 30 50 100 150 200 250 300 400 500 600 800 1000 1250 1500 1750 2000 2500 3000 4000 5000 7000

Not a bad idea Ben. You could go from the Kurt Bakholt level for newbies up to demigod Stan/Rodney levels for those of more advanced lineage for example ...

Won't be done as it would mean Tory boy having to employ immigrant conductors above the minimum wage, etc.
