How do you change the text of a hyperlink in powerpoint without removing hyperlink? I'm using Microsoft Office Powerpoint 2007 to create a slideshow with 50 or so hyperlinks. I made another slideshow a while ago, and I want to use the same format for the slideshow. The only problem is that I want to change the text that contains the hyperlink without removing the hyperlink. I've already tried to highlight the text with a hyperlink and change the text, but the hyperlink is removed.

Have you tried (copy) (paste special)?

Insert tab - Hyperlink. At the top of the box that appears is a field: 'Text to display' where you can type what you want, then select your file to hyperlink to from the section below, or type in the address in the address field at the bottom.
