Quite liked the guy.... he was worth 10 points during the Championship winning season.... Some of his saves were outstanding

The one from Leicester at home stands out still, it was on a par with Rob's fingertip save on Saturday against Burnley....

A shame he rose to the bait on Twitter from the knuckle draggers who support our club....
Just out of interest, how many points do you think Taarabt was worth during our title winning season?

Without Kenny we'd still have won the title.

Without Adel we wouldn't have won the title. Probably wouldn't even have been promoted.

Obviously.

And that's not to say I'd want to see either of them starting for us this season.

It was Adel's fault all along. Disruptive element don't you know.

Adel is like a Stradivarius, only the best can extract everything out of it. We have a manager who is happy with a collection of Firenzes.

Or maybe Adel is like a good quality Audi. Able to look good in a stock-car race. Moved up to Grand prix level even Shumacher couldn't get him anywhere near a podium finish.

No, your analogy is way off the mark. Better people than you or I have deemed him one of the technically best and most gifted players of our time. We just need a quality orchestra conductor to realise the benefits.

Yeah, but what has Adel ever done for us? Apart from the roads, fresh-water system, irrigation, 19 goals and 21 assists, what has Adel ever done for us!?

All this brawl at Xmas party nonsense reminds me of the bloke who was arrested for being drunk and incapable. In his defence he said he'd been to his works Xmas party. " but you were alone " they said. " well, I'm self employed " said he.

Yet the fans of all the other Championship clubs voted Adel as Championship Player Of The Year. I think Paddy won it because of hubris.
It seems like the current fans seem ashamed of having talented players in the side so you see grafters like Clint Hill and Barton being lauded.

Can't really blame Taarabt for wanting to leave after that snub from some of the fans...

That was a disgrace... and embarassing.

Let's not forget the players also voted Kenny their player of the year. But I suppose they know pribbling idle-headed giglet all too.

And how did we get from "Brawl at the Christmas Party" to yet another thread about he who must be adored ?
