Dykes has his moments but really doesn’t win enough headers or score goals.
Just cogitate on what you've just written.

I can never get my head around how no matter where us or QPR are in the league or how well we play they always always somehow regenerate into the flipping Harlem globetrotters and turn us over.

And we can’t even have the satisfaction of punching one of the malevolent fool-born ratsbanes in the mouth afterwards. malevolent fool-born ratsbanes.

Don't bother reading the game thread until after the match these days.... it's more fun

I can see where you are coming from. At 0-2 down I picked my daily paper up and began reading that whilst the game was on in the background. I made a cup of tea at half time and thought I'll wait until Millwall get a third before packing it in for good. So pleased I stuck with it now.
Mind you I still think Dykes is so poor and I'm not surprised that Charlie didn't play him in when he had good chance to do so, it's clear Charlie has no confidence in Dykes at all - mind you he's good at taking throw-ins, that was a good investment !

I had forgotten we were playing ( actually forgot it was Wednesday) until my son reminded me, so didn't tune in until just after the second half started so my perspective on the game is probably a bit skewed. But I'm happy, it felt like a 3 nil romp.

Just watched the match highlights and noticed how bad Millwall's marking was for our 3rd goal. They left Jordy to his own De Wijs!

Until last night I don't recall Dykes taking throw ins, which would appear to be the best part of his game. Why has it taken the manager & coaching staff three quarters of a season to discover this ?

Its a pity as Dykes is useful in the air too - one ball in second half into Millwall's he had to reach for and got some.contact which had the ball fall nicely if someone else had been there to tuck it away.

That's yer actual daylight robbery.
Still some issues, serious lack of pace in the side, Dykes and Bonne both hopeless.

Again Charlie the catalyst for the comeback, if this is an audition for next season
you can't see who on staff stood out apart from the usual solid performers.
That's not fair on dykes. He was good tonight.
Indeed he was
