It is quite a change around in personnel and I remain one of those who still has hope for Dykes and Bonne to come good.
Does seem to be an element of succession planning on the playing staff - the difficult replacements could turn out to be the likes of Warburton, Banfield, Ramsey and co - think the club have some really good people in place amongst the coaching and management roles, and maybe those are also the people we want to hang on to.

Nice win - as far as I can tell from reports, it was a so called 'ugly win', which we have been crying for !
Congrats to Dieng - clean sheet #10

Just seen this posted on LfW:
19/20: 34 games, 12 wins, 7 draws, 15 losses, -7 GD, 43pts & 15th
20/21: 34 games, 12 wins, 10 draws, 12 losses, -4 GD, 46pts & 12th
And, as commented, that's excellent work given the poss of Eze etc from the squad.
A 10th finishing place I hoped for at the start of the season is a possibility if we keep our new year form going.

Really great defensive display. Very impressed with the way De Wijs has slotted in, Is it true this move has an option to be made permeant along with Fields? If so thats excellent news!
Johansen again oozed class, really stands out at this level.

Yes we did grind it out, great result very good points about all the players that have left and how we have assembled a team especially at the back that is pretty solid.
The key player for us is Illias chair Worries me a bit when he's not playing, still a bit puzzled why he was sub recently, can only think he was being rested we was on a very good run at that point. Did noticed after the game but he seem to be walking Slightly awkwardly. Hope we can hold this team together, and build for next season.Obvious candidates to hang onto our keeper dickie in defence and Ilias

I'm beginning to get optimistic about next season (always a bad sign), but we do seem to have the frame of a good team. We should be able to sign Field and JDW permanently and it would be a dream to get Chas and Johansen to add to the good players we already have.
And of course we may well be back through the turnstiles again.
Can such things be ?
