Thanks BC - think we already had a few eyes casting in that direction before the losses to Brum and Barnsley - if we had won both or taken a win and a draw, then might have been more realistic.
Think many expecting Nahki to notch against us yesterday - what's your take on his form - seems better under Pearson? Are you happy with the new manager?

Thanks, that's very magnanimous of you. We're some way off being a top 6 outfit this season but if we can keep both our best players and loan players who came in January and add a few more quality signings in the summer, we may be able to challenge for those higher echelons.BristolCity wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 6:24 amWell played the Rs; the result was fully deserved and you would have won even if City had had a good day.
Time to start looking at those play off places?
Once City's injury crisis has receded and Pearson has had time with the squad, you should be in fine shape yourself. Best of luck for the rest of this season.

Cheers, yes Pearson is just what we needed after five years of two ineffectual yes men.Devonranger wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 6:46 amThanks BC - think we already had a few eyes casting in that direction before the losses to Brum and Barnsley - if we had won both or taken a win and a draw, then might have been more realistic.

Nakhi has been played too close to our other big striker, Pearson has made them play further apart so they cause the defence more problems so he should come good now.
QPR are my second team - not many Bristol City fans can say that!

I don't know, the play offs seem fairly open. Every fan downplays their own chances.dm wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 6:58 amThanks, that's very magnanimous of you. It's not just the injury crisis it's that about a dozen players are out of contract in the summer and bar a couple will not be offered new contracts as there is a vast amount of dead wood in the squad; Pearson may be good but he's not a miracle worker so I'm expecting lower mid table this season though not flirting with relegation.
Bristol Rovers are however looking at the double of the team going down and Joey Barton going down as well.
