If we win our two games in hand we would be one point off Cardiff.

That’s incredible given our season so far. A reminder of how tight the Championship can be.

Even though we are unlikely to win those two games and sustain the form, it’s great to see us putting some results together.

I do think the new signings have made a big difference, and Les and the manager deserve credit for that. Everyone is talking about Austin but I think Johansen has, in a quieter way, been just as important.

We look a lot more balanced in central midfield, and it means we are conceding fewer goals.
