Why isn't he starting every match? Certainly good enough for the team.

Given we’ve won 5 out of 6 I think the manager is the man to make those decisions.

Given also that he helped turn the game against very decent opposition gives the question legitimacy.

The manager sees him as a substitute at this time. Seems to be working well.

Thought both full backs came through a tough task with credit - Kane was always going to have a difficult time with both Canos and Henry coming down that flank but he stuck to it.

I do think that like the full backs, both Bonne and Dykes will come good as signings - juat need to give them time.

I think the backroom set up for the club with Warbs, Eustace, Banfield and co along with Les, Lee Hos and the owners is as good as we have had it for some time.

Now on to Bournemouth- got me thinking about Esox - am sure he would like to give 'Arry a warm socially distanced welcome back for all he has done for the club ....

Will his knees be up to it?

Depends what you had in mind for them - just give him a tv with ITV racing and you won't hear a peep out of him.

The only down side is listening to the commentators on SKY - its almost like Thomas Frank doing the commentary.

What strikes me during our run of wins is we're playing more pragmatic football in comparison to the passing game we've previously adopted. We're certainly no longer averse to playing it long and could even be described as 'ugly' at times. This isn't Warburton's way. I wonder if the club's powers that be have had a word with him to say he needed to change the nice football to win games?

I have no problem with "winning football" DM. I always thought that MW was going to have to change it up, as we didn't have enough of the quality needed to play his "total football". We needed to find a way of playing that suited this limited but whole-hearted squad. Of course Charlie and the other loans have given everyone a lift, but he has done brilliantly to arrest what was a very worrying slide into a relegation scrap.And for that he deserves all the plaudits he is now getting.

Andy Cole used to have similar problems and, more recently, Hugill and his glaring misses followed by a screamer.

I am confident that we will still see the best of both Bonne and Dykes and we just need to be patient with them. Perhaps a better environment for them to develop in.
