Lucky we have a Premiership standard defender in Dickie
Whisper it, but the whole defence is looking good. To stop Blackburn is impressive.
Yes, the defence now looking good - really good goalkeeping, Barbet having a great run, Dickie a rock and even the two full, sorry, wing backs doing OK.

Scrappy in the extreme but we battled hard and took the three points. Well done lads.
Nice to get the home "monkey off your back". It must have been on the players minds(it has been on mine for sure). Our games are so close this season bar a couple, that with a bit more fire - power, we could have been looking up instead of down. U R'sssss

The much derided Wallace has been part of it too.

We must be one of the form teams in the league!

Great result to get. We're quietly pulling away from the drop.

Rotherham won again.... Gaps gone up to five but more teams are getting sucked in...

I love it when a plan comes together....

Chair is seen as a real threat and noticed he was targeted at the start, Travis is a twunt doing a Romario when Charlie pushed him, deserved a card...

Dieng and Dickie finds of the season, Wallace and Barbet most improved...
2020/2021.... Keep Calm, no matter the season, we'll follow our team.....

Great win, but not sure we're pulling away yet with other teams ie Forest, Rotherham etc picking wins up too. It's tight down there and with 4 wins out of 5, we are still only 5 points above the bottom three. I think the 50 point mark will have to be slightly more this season.
Rotherham away next and their recent form is quite impressive I think, winning their last 3 games also ?

Incredibly scrappy, particularly after we went ahead. After months of playing pretty well and losing though, I'll take that. Whoever is responsible for the improved defence deserves a huge payrise - they're a different beast now.
I do question what Willock needs to do to start at this point though! But little point complaining today.
Huge game next weekend. And wouldn't it be great to knock the bus stop off their perch the game after?
I'm just enjoying a great week results wise, and Derby aside, a great few weeks. Well done all.

Decent first half but Blackburn looking stronger as the half progressed. Not a great deal for Dykes and Austen to feed on. We've seen this so many times this season - failure to score early on and the other team getting on to it.
The second half subs may well decide this one. Come on Rs let's win this.

I was thinking before the game that a result would be more important than playing well and it turned out that way.

We played it long more than any other time during Warburton's tenure. It was rarely 'pass and possess the ball' but it worked.

Had we lost today we'd be 19th in the table and just 2 points above the relegation zone.

It's good to see that Warburton can be pragmatic and that he does have a plan B.

I like the look of Willock but where does he play? Not sure he's suited to wing-back or and he's probably not a practical replacement for either Johnansen or Ball.

It is a bit congested down there but Wycombe seem to be drifting from the rest - some of those above us were starting to get drawn in - looking at Bristol City - Huddersfield are coming into it too.

Terrific result today and we now have a full week to prepare for Rotherham while they (Rotherham) have to play midweek (due to earlier games being called off due to Covid). The club has done well to manage the players to avoid catching the illness. It will be interesting to see if the clubs that have had to postpone games suffer as a result of the backlog of games.
Come on you Sooopa ........
