Sheffield United

Post by ZENITH R » Wed Dec 30, 2020 4:41 pm

Last night they equaled our record of 16 games without a win at the start of a Premier League season.

Our record was: P16 W 0 D 7 L 9 pts 7 GD -16 (F13 A 29)

Theirs is: P 16 W 0 D 2 L 14 pts: 2 GD - 19 (F8 A 27)

So, we did better than them up to this point. We won our 17th match (beat Fulham 2-1 at home). Fingers crossed Palace will prevent Sheffield United from winning on Saturday to win the gold medal.

Does this matter? Yes, we hold far too many records for the worst performances, so, seeing someone else take our crown makes me feel better.

Their fall from grace seems crazy. They overachieved and finished 9th last season.
I haven't been following but I'm curious as to what happened

Second season syndrome. They have been sussed out, and sent Luke Freeman out on loan. That will do it.
