Carroll was MotM for quite a few commentators. He had 99 touches of the ball, the most of any player on the pitch, and the highest accurate pass rate too. His performance wasn't perfect but it was productive.

I thought Little Tom was very good. They all played pretty well really and deserved to win the match. The ref didn't do us any favours whatsoever. I think when Dykes gets going he'll be quite a threat.

Wasn't this the Tom Carroll we wanted in 2013 / 2014?
He was always looking for the ball yesterday.....
Let's hope his good form continues
2020/2021.... Keep Calm, no matter the season, we'll follow our team.....

We had him on loan from Spurs in the 2013/14 season. 'Little Tom Carroll' wasn't too impressive then but he's a much better player now and, at 5' 10" tall, not that little.Systemsguy wrote: ↑Sun Nov 22, 2020 8:29 pmWasn't this the Tom Carroll we wanted in 2013 / 2014?

He was good on Saturday, in my view if we start with one striker he should play a little higher up the pitch, he can hit the killer ball first time

He was given the 10 shirt as part of his loan contract in 2013 but wasn't really suited to the rough and tumble of the championship then... My nephew whose a spud fan said at time he was considered a "baller"..... He hasn't had a bad career so far and hopefully his and our fortunes are on the upside
