FFP strike again

Post by QPR_John » Wed Nov 04, 2020 7:15 pm

Wednesdays points deduction reduced to 6. They really had it in for us.

Any team put together to get promotion surely must be good enough to be 6 points from a relegation fight hence there is no gamble in breaking FFP

Football is bent. Life is bent. Wrong, but there it is.

Makes a mockery of the whole thing.

They were lucky the deduction didn’t come into effect last season (as it should have done, and like Wigan had to endure).

Maybe we should claim half of our fine back too?

Smacks of the authorities trying to avoid any potential follow up legal action by clubs - some form of compromise agreement.

If Wigan weren't brassic, I think they would definitely be taking legal action.
