PNE Match Thread

Post by 222gers » Wed Oct 21, 2020 12:50 pm

One of the most horrible teams in the league so I'm hoping we'll give them a right hiding. I suppose Little Tom may play instead of Amos although no really the same type of player. 2-1 to us although I'd like more.

We need a victory. Only 1 win in 6 games so far this season and just 6 from the last 25 games. I think we'll get the win tonight though.

What's up with Dykes?

0-1 soft penalty against the run of play - Wallace should know better and disappointed at Sammy D diving early to make it easy for the taker
When will goalies learn that the pressure is on the taker to score not the other way round
This time we'll get it right - just believe!

The Preston goalkeeper has had plenty ty to do - thanks to the many over- hit passes and clearances.
It's simple. Score more goals than they do.

That 1st half could have been lifted from the previous 4 years against that lot,
Bonne should have reached that header, I suspect Dykes would have.

They've done a job on us... again, question is have we learned?

The amount of penalties we give away is a joke. Its experienced pro's doing it now. Not looking good this year.

Yup. Get a corner and we waste it. Missing Amos’s box to box energy.

Usual pedestrian attack. Substitutes making no impact, moan moan.

Think Dykes will make a difference, hopefully he is available on Saturday.

Having said all this we lost the game rather than Preston win it.

Come on Warburton ten minutes left, shit or bust
