Any news on Luke Amos' injury?

Post by ZENITH R » Sun Oct 18, 2020 8:35 pm

It looked in quite a bit of pain when he was subbed.

MW played it down in the post-match interview, but a local journalist is saying it’s a bad one.

Gutted for him.

Shit. And sadly he has now done both knees is that right ?

Like Faurlin. That’s so sad.

Poor lad what a shame.

Warburton’s fault for tempting fate.

Apparently so. That's cruel at just 23. Gutted for him. It's going to be tough to come back from psychologically as well as physically..

I think it leaves us very light in central midfield too. We've got defensive options in Cameron and Ball, but only Carroll with much attacking intent, and he's more of a playmaker rather than someone who gets in the box to support the strikers. I know Amos isn't a great finisher, but he did at least seem to get in some good attacking positions. I guess Bettache will get more game time now.
Are headphones getting bigger, or are idiots getting smaller ?

This is really tough for such a young player, fingers crossed we see him in an R's shirt again.

ps - Who's going to start Rip Amos trending on Twitter?

I feel awful for him, after coming back from the last one too.
