The South London Press reports they 'believe' we paid around £2m. I sincerely hope not.

Charlton signed him in June 2019 for about £200,000. That is a tidy profit in a little over a year if true.

He scored 12 goals in 32 starts and 8 as a sub for Charlton.

I hope he's better than the last signing we had from Charlton !

I'm not at all displeased we've signed him. He looks a promising player. If it's true he cost us £2m we wouldn't be shelling out the whole lot in one go and I'm sure there'd be addons involved. Nonetheless, I'd have expected the price to be a little over half that. And he'll mainly be cover for Dykes who cost £2m.

I doubt we have signed a 2m player for cover dm Warburton must have a cunning plan.

On the downside he will be lost on International Duty throughout the season.

Was speaking to a Charlton supporter yesterday about Bonne, said he's been OK but nothing more. Only came into the side when Lyle Taylor refused to play, hopefully having already played in the Championship will help though.

Bonne's an out and out striker so I'd be surprised to see him in the 3 behind. Do you expect Warburton to switch to 2 up front?

I would have thought he'll want the option of being able to do so, as we sometimes did with Hugill and Wells last season.

I'd agree that the price seems on the high side.

I’m actually happier with this signing than I was/am with Dykes because this player has actually proved he can score goals in the championship for a struggling team....and should be the same for him here (we’ve lost creativity in the side after losing Eze which is hard to replace) First signing I’m really happy with and not just satisfied! :)

A bit like Dykes, Bonne looks like a bread and butter finisher - similar to Bobby Z, but without the hold up play. He looks strong and I want to be optimistic, but there's not a lot about this signing that excites me at this stage.

Great video deadendjob, thanks.

I like the idea of two young, quick strikers up front, both good in the air, both strong.

Cor, you lot are a tough crowd to please!

I think this sounds like an excellent signing. And slightly relieved to see the QPR I grew up supporting reappearing. Doing away with the notion of defending as we've realised we're just never going to be very good at it, so reverting to my preferred tactic of outscoring the opposition!

Bring on Adomah! Think he'd do very well for us, and I cannot deny that there'd be a bit of a feel good factor involved.
