...guess I pass this season....
usually I book my flights one months in advance to get a decent fare.
Waiting to the last minute means that the prices go high. Then my usual air companies have reduced the number of flights.
Aer Lingus had something like 10-12 return flights a day and I always took the last one at 8:30 or 9:15 pm.
Now they have only 3 flights and the last one leaves Heathrow at 2pm, thus making impossible to fly back home on the same day....

anyway I am happy enough that I will be able to retain my seat for the following season...

Not sure I fully understand the bit about maximising attendance by giving preferrence to people in social bubbles, although I'm suffering from a surfeit of ale and it may look clearer in the cold light of day.
That said, unless the sudden acceleration in new Covid infections can be halted, I'd be very surprised if they'll be letting any fans in for some time.

I think that the rationale is that ‘social bubbles’ won’t need to social distance within the ground.

So a bubble of say, 8 fans, would be preferable compared to a couple that just want to go by themselves.

More social bubbles = larger attendance.

I have to say, I feel sorry for the club here. I suppose all they can try to do is make the best of a really bad situation.

As much as I want to support QPR - the thought of going to the odd game with 3,000 / 4,000 fans isn’t that appealing to me...
