Was clutching his back.

He scored his first international goal though before the injury.

Was inevitable. We should have made some excuse for him not to play. You can bet if a top team only had one fit striker 6 days before the new season they'd do the same.
Come on you Sooopa ........

The difference being a top team would have got away with it

He scored a good goal. Great movement in the box.

He was rubbing his lower back as he he came off when subbed and I didn't think it looked too bad. Let's just hope he's okay this Saturday. He'll make all the difference to the team.

Always a major risk when you only have one striker on your books.

I’m sure we’ll sign another one this week, it sounds like we’ve got an interest in a a couple of players down south.

I do hope his injury isn’t too bad though, he’s looked a real handful for Scotland over the past couple of games.

He did a post match interview I believe. If the injury was that bad then I'd imagine that wouldn't have happened? Would be a real shame, sounds like the Scottish fans are very impressed.

None of the articles I read referenced an injury. I assume he just had a sore back and will be fine with a day or two rest.

Otherwise we'll be light up front for Saturday.
