Much like I think of Amos (at the moment), he’s just too light-weight to have any real influence in this league.
That's my fear for Amos, too many similarities in their style of play, perhaps he [Amos] can turn a corner, if not
then it's on loan to the likes of Barnet me thinks.
Who the hell does Spurs scouting?

Bullet dodged re Sherwoods comments ( see the earlier link )

he maybe good or just OK BUT I fail to see just how a player who can't get into the Spurs side would walk into the Barcelona one.....OK, maybe now 4 years later he would be really.

here's hoping he can do a job for us, and as I said earlier, against Swansea he surely will !!

I'm quite optimistic about Tommy returning. He's very skillful but admittedly lightweight, however he could be a midfield fulcrum spraying passes about. Give him a chance.

That was how it was today.

I have to say, that was a great start to his second spell with us.

He was inventive, creative, brave, and some of the passing was just exquisite. He’s probably helped by not playing in front of a crowd... But I thought he did really well yesterday.

If MW can keep him playing like that (passing forward!) he could be a real asset.

Yep, agreed SM. He picked up from where he finished last Saturday and stepped up a notch to boot. He's a very different player to when he was last with us, not least in that he's grown to 5' 10"!
