Our new no. 9...Lyndon Dykes

Haven’t seen anything on here about our new striker Lyndon Dykes. Great to have another forward beyond Oteh, which leaves us needing maybe one more for the new season (another loan?).

Also encouraging that Dykes has no problem with the physical side of the game by all accounts, particularly with Leistner maybe out of favour and our reputation for being nice boys playing nice football. A couple of hard bastards wouldn’t go amiss in the side.

We have had Ramkilde for a few months now too.

That’s true, though I thought he was more of a work in progress, maybe to be loaned out?

The BBC reports that the Daily Mail reports...

Steve Clarke is ready to name Australia-born striker Lyndon Dykes in his Scotland squad today - but is prepared for a late change of plan if the 24-year-old asks for more time to make up his mind. (Daily Mail, print edition)

Presumably, we all hope that he opts for international status with Scotland, rather than Australia - whose matches tend to be played a rather Luongo way away.
It's simple. Score more goals than they do.

Plus he's guaranteed more time off in the summer when the major tournaments are being played. Win win.

Plus during term time, because the Asia schedule is different

Starts tonight for Scotland.

Good luck to him. Hope he scores the winner. Has anyone seen Ramkilde play? Looks a big fella.

Good international debut in the lone striker role, strong, quick, winning headers, laying the ball off with little or no support.

Do we sell now and cash in or hang on to him for a while
