Brentford or Fulham ?

Post by Danish Ranger » Fri Jul 31, 2020 5:54 am

All West London play off final on Tuesday ?

So who do we want to get rid of for next season ?

Personally I would like to see the back of Foolham, but on the other hand I would like to see, how Brentford would cope with life in the PL

In addition I think Brentford is a very well managed club and it would be a fairy tail to start first season in new stadium in the top flight

Brentford are the better team IMO and frankly deserve it more.
Tbh I know some QPR fans feel some kind of rivalry, but I just can't feel anything much about them.
I'd also like to see how they manage the step up, purely out of curiosity.

I'm not too bothered either way. I've never comletely rid myself of the perception of both as lower league clubs kicking around in the old 3rd and 4th divisions. I've also never been able to drum up anything like the total dislike for them that I have with that shower up the road.

Fulham!

Brentford are the better team, and i think they will win. If they don't it will be interesting to see if they can hang on to the likes of Watkins and Benrahma.

If they do go up, I think they will be a one season wonder, coming straight back down again.

Griffin Park, for all it's limitations would have been a big advantage in the Premier League, much as Dean Court was for Bournemouth - the big boys didn't like playing there. A shiny new stadium with no history will be a leveler.

Brentford deserve it. They've been the best team in the division since football started up again.

They had their chance to go up automatically - with a little help from QPR (drawing 2-2 at West Brom) - but strangely blew it.

Real Bus Stop to go up and come straight back down with lowest points ever to demonstrate the (latest) correct way to run a football club.

Brentford. You have to admire what they have achieved for a club of their size. I'd like to see them go up.
Come on you Sooopa ........

Agree and to be honest, I've never really seen them as any kind of rival.

Brentford - not only do they deserve it more, but with the strength of the squad Fulham has, they should've easily have been promoted.
Plus, I'd like to see Scott Parker's stupid face in tears.

Agreed to both and I don’t like to wish ill will, but - Fulham did smash all that dough when they went up, it would be interesting to see that all unravel as the parachute payments dissipate.

Fulham going up is the lesser of two evils.
