Just out of interest, and not having a go, but can you think of any player with a Premiership club who has voluntarily joined a club at a lower level and at a lower wage to further their career ?
Come on you Sooopa ........

Do players ever move clubs without giving their agreement? Surely all transfers are voluntary?

Yeah I get that but can you think of any player who has moved down a division at a lower wage if they are under contract with a Premiership club.

signing a 2-3 year contract on low wages (for him) just to get the chance to play regularly and improve his game
The point I make with Amos is it's Hobson's choice for him, unlike Trippier, Taraabt, etc he clearly isn't good enough for any
Premiership squad.

He's supposedly on 7k a week so might not be as precipitous a drop in circumstances as all that. From that point of view t's a more plausible move than, say, Hugill.

I'm not as down on him as most people on here seem to be. He's grown into it a bit and I think if we do get to keep him, he will be a much better player next season. I think the prospects of the move are still quite a speculative, though.

It's not that clear. BOS & Manning & Eze clearly weren't EPL players when they got their first runs in the 1st team. They all showed signs, and that is what you get with Luke, signs of a good player in there.
It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope.

Have to agree and if he was the finished article we’d have no chance of signing him
