Personally I think it's a real shame if Eze is sold ,I know we need the money supposedly but we have the nucleus of a good front line at the club if we could build on that mainly strengthening the midfield and defence goalkeeper etc
Good manager with good principles just doesn't have the players to play in the style but he wants another words we give the ball away at the back mainly through lack of technical ability.

I mean, we need the money though. If we got anywhere near the £20m being banded around, that could rebuild our squad massively or be put towards the training ground/facilities. I don't want him to leave, because he's a real gem, but we need him to go to become more sustainable

When have we ever got what a player was worth in comparison to other clubs? The answer is not very often. Not since JimG.

West Ham - they have a knack of diddling us for players.

£15m plus Hugill would be a decent deal.

Here’s hoping a bidding war breaks out though

I think that would be a very decent deal valuing Eze at c.£20m. I'd take it with a 15-20% sell on clause.

My concern would be Hugill's wage expectation and that could scupper the deal.

QPR tell clubs Eze will cost at least £20m: https://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr ... -260720222

Given the interest in Eze, this is the correct thing to do and I think we'll get what we're asking. A rare talent like Eze does not come along very often.

He has been a Championship top three player all season and actually has the best & most consistent stats on whoscored.com over the season. £20m should be a good starting place for a player that good.

My thoughts on any fee + player offers, incoming players wages too high for us.

I see Villa are now being mentioned. I suppose if Grealish is on his way, Eze might be a logical replacement.

To date the clubs said to be interested are Spurs, Sheff Utd, Newcastle, Palace, West Ham, Villa, Leeds and West Brom. Any others?

Will any European clubs enter the fray? I'd have thought Eze's style and abilities would be very attractive to some.

Have to laugh at all the media reports now saying that because Palace's offer was £12 million then we are reducing our asking price - so how does that work exactly?

If someone drops to offer £10 million do we come down further ?

I think with the talent we have here in Eze this is a time where we can dictate and I hope the club holds out for £20 million plus.

Just picked up on this very badly researched piece on our Eebere
from Daniel Harris in the Guardian:

"Another player in demand is Eze Eberechi – and not just because of the Eze’s good, Eze like Sunday morning, terrace anthem potential. The QPR attacker has established himself as one of the Championship’s most exciting players, so the interest of Crystal Palace and West Ham United is no great surprise. The former made an offer thought to be in the region of £12m; it was refused by Rangers, who are believed to want somewhere around £20m."

Firstly we don't sing his praises to this tune: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFJdUJg4wOk or

And I believe that his family name is stated after his first name unlike Hungarian names

What makes that such a galling read is that is the output from someone who is paid to report sports news in a professional capacity.
