Bid from us for Kieffer Moore of Wigan accepted - around about the £2 million mark.

I may be wrong but that's suggestive of Hugill not coming back next season.

Between this and the reported interest in Erras we seem keen to add height. 2m seems an ok price for him going by his goal return. At that price anyone good enough to be a regular off the bench would be good value.

Re: Hugil we do need more than striker so we shouldn't read too much into this signing on in relation to that, although good chance he doesn't

Two million seems quite high for him. Didnt expect us to be spending that much on anyone. Or at least anyone over 25 who's sell on value isnt as likely to increase.

Hugill is under contract at WHAM for another 2 years. No surprises they want to sell him, but having paid £8,000,000 they will want to recoup as much of that as possible, and that will certainly be too much for us.

Less than we spent on Washington, i think. You don't get much striker for 2m these days.

Moore has at least shown he can perform at this level.

i don't think it's a bad price. If he's good enough to be a decent third choice and menace off the bench then good work. It's how we afford choices one and two.

Geez Satch when I first read I thought Erras was 2m tall.

It's simple. Score more goals than they do.

I was quite impressed with Moore in the recent Wigan game against us. He scored, of course, although he also 'did a Hugill' ballooning a decent chance over the bar.

Should this go through I wonder if Warburton will look to bring in a quicker, smaller striker to recreate a Hugill/Wells type partnership?

If we manage to pick up a Championship striker for £2m, that's not bad going at all. And he does look a decent player - big and smart.
