Charlton match...

Post by Giorgio » Sat Jun 27, 2020 12:07 pm

1-0 down...usual poor defending on set pieces.....and I wonder if they told the players that the aim of this game is to get into the opposite goal....

Are we contractually obliged to give teams a goal start in our matches?

..again very poor....not enough movements...nothing up front...Hugill - as usual - alone.....not supported.... looking like two strikers are strictly forbidden

Apparently so. And in return we get the lions share of possession.

Really need to change something, like Giorgio eluded to, stick two up top.

Imagine if we still had Matt Smith

Even though Pugh and Hall have left this conceding a goal early was happening way too often
even before their departures.

Our season's fizzled out, Warburton knows what has to be rectified.

Bloody COVID-19, the play offs were attainable before this nonsense messed with our players commitment and desire. 😠
Question everything.

Plenty of commitment I thought, the players keen to get on with the game, just a lack of quality

Thankfully Fulham, Middlesbrough and Wigan have nothing to play for so there should be an opportunity to pick up some points in the next 3 matches

Absolutely awful if you ask me. Why are we trying to back flick all the time in their area. We are really slow and have no idea when we get near their box. Todd Kane must of forgotten he played for us not Charlton. He was truly terrible. Last two games are two of the worst i have seen all season. Everyone must want to play us given this performance. We will get smashed by Fulham unless we wake up. Unimpressed. You can pass it across the line all day but no penetration. And Hugill missed a sitter. Sinton says we will be frustrated well that is because we were shocking.

Yep, I'm with Andrew. What a waste of 5 quid.
