Charlton prediction

Post by Danish Ranger » Fri Jun 26, 2020 8:06 am

I am wondering if it makes any sense to try to predict the outcome of a game, where it seems we have very little to play for, pride apart

Charlton are fighting for survival but I feel playing at home with no crowd could be their disadvantage

I will go for the easy option and predict a one all draw with Eze to score from the spot

I predict their lowest crowd of the season.

I predict their lowest crowd of the season.

I'm not sure about that. Maybe on a par with our game against Barnsley?

Actually, I've just re-read and noticed 'their' - you are probably right, but the way their support has dwindled in the last couple of months, don't be surprised if it's not matched at some future game.

I hope they manage to beat the drop. The fans have been royally screwed over just as much as the Hull fans and the addicks were always a decent side when Curbishley was there.

Apparently, Benny Hill, who came from a rather sedate and decorous background, used to go and stand on the terraces at Charlton to pick up quips and sayings to use in his act when he was starting out.
Notta lotta people know that.

Almost, it's Masterson for Shodipo.

1-1

And nine on the bench! Wallace is missing from last week - possibly injured?

Well for a team with so much possession that was a pretty dreadful first half!
Question everything.
