Barnsley game

Post by QPR-CMOB » Sat Jun 20, 2020 2:13 pm

1 down . Andy Sinton questioned the positioning of the central defenders but our center mids were non existant and not trekking back to get goal side . Really poor goal to give up

Isn’t this what we would sadly expect with no Pugh and no Hall. We now have a weaker spine and it’s going to be hard for Masterson etc to step up week in and week out.

Have to agree . Think Amos has been woeful so far and was at fault for the goal not going with the runner . Chair has been ineffective as has BOS who is at least seeing a lot of the ball .
Barnsley time wasting with 75 minutes left is beyond a joke but Rangers have been poor in every area so far

Full backs both terrible. Midfield can’t get a grip. Flashes of better stuff from ball. If he can do more of that we might manage to get back in this.

Hmmm, conceding early, playing catchup @ home. Nothing new there.
Are we capable of a barnstorming 2nd half with 2-3 goals, certainly!

If Barnsley gets relegated, we will not be to blame

This is one of those "if we play till Xmas we ain't gonna score" days

Appalling. Very very frustrating.

I thought Mowatt played well for Barnsley especially as he didn't have Chandon playing alongside him.
Seriously though, this is no way to watch football. Even if we had played well, I couldn't imagine watching football in such a way.

Gifted or were they just better than us each time?
