I'm sure you're right. A contract is usually an agreement between two or more parties. If one doesn't sign it, the other/s can't enforce it.

Good luck to Hall. I suspect the economics of this are pretty straightforward - a 28 year old wanting a 3 year deal on £15k (or whatever) versus a 22 year old wanting half the money. We have to be turning over players regularly to keep the balance sheet tidy. And we now have the capability to sign players for nothing on low wages and turn them into diamonds.
