Think there was a click at article about Dickie - their manager said he was surprised by the size of the club involved but, didn't mention the club's name.

Maybe a few had decided we were that club.

...and do you know him ? (I did not, honestly) ... Is he any good or promising ? I like a lot his name, reminding me of one of my heroes from the past, Dave Thomas...hope he can provide the same amount of fun...

Clive Whittingham gives a pretty comprehensive profile of George Thomas: https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/ ... s--signing

A three year contract with an option for a further 12 months. Quite a commitment, but I'm guessing not an especially expensive one from our point of view.

It does seem a bit of an odd signing - given he hasn't pulled up any trees at any of the clubs he has played for. In saying that, he's only 23 - maybe he'll be a signing like Dom Ball? Or maybe we just signed a 3rd string player?

Defender (CB) - Charlie Goode from Northampton Town. Assuming to replace Grant Hall. A fee is mentioned.

West Ham United are interested in Queens Park Rangers and former Republic of Ireland Under-21 full-back Ryan Manning, 24.

So says the Telegraph via the BBC Gossip page this morning.

The Athletic mentioned in their article today about Forest that we're offering Ben Watson a 2 year deal.

A two year deal for a 35 year old midfielder. That should go down well, especially given his less than glorious loan spell here previously.

To be fair, that was 11 years ago - you'd hope he'd progressed in that time. In saying that, he's passed his best years - if we were to sign him I'd hope it was with the intention of being a sporadic player with then intention of using his experience to help the youngsters develop.

Mostly it feels like a nonsense rumour
