A shame to miss out on Goode but it suggests we're looking in the right places.

No names mentioned but comments on this video suggestive of players (plural) leaving and more coming in.

Christian Maghoma - free agent.

Former Tottenham youth product, since played in Poland for Arka Gdynia before being released. 22, 6ft 1 CB, worth a punt?

Question why was he released from Arka Gdynia?

Arka Gdynia were relegated and had a big clear out. I guess financial situation is bad there.

We really need reinforcements at CB, especially if BFG leaves.

Saw Warburton interview, too. Said players but unclear if he meant permanent or loans. He seemed to think the squad would be small and implied he would end up playing young players because of it. Sounds like he doesn't think a league cup run is realistic.

Also said something to the effect that if certain players did not leave then that would be good. So it sounds like we are not desperate to sell.

I'm sure we're all hoping the club can convince BOS to agree to an improved contract and step up his performances again this season for us to attract better offers from PL clubs next summer. Surely a win/win situation.

Hugill - Was a decent striker at this level, so it's a shame to miss out on him. My reservations with him were purely financial, he was on decent wages and the amount Spam were asking for wasn't in the realm of what we could afford. We can only hope Dykes was the cheaper version who we get a similar return from.

Izzy Brown - Gone to Wednesday. From what I've heard, he was a bit of trouble, so maybe we avoided that.

Goode - can understand him going to the beez, although it would've been nice to have a up and coming CB.

Rob Dickie - Toon appear to be in for him, so I guess that'll cool our interest.

Dykes - I mean, fingers crossed we got the right guy for us. His rate of return in Scotland doesn't fill me with much confidence, but he was playing a very poor Livingston team.
His goals for the season are mostly bread and butter finishes (based on this video), but it's positive he got himself in the right positions to finish them.

We haven't been linked with too many other players, but hopefully we've got some irons in the fire
A bit like Clive Allen then and let's not forget Gary Lineker forged an entire career on those sort of finishes
Jimmy Greaves moved into the six yard box as soon as the kick off as taken and never moved from it until he had scored for his career. (Hyperbole, I know)

I was still in nappies when Greavsie was banging them in for Spuds where he managed a goal (a little under) every 1.5 games which is some return even for a 'goal hanger'. His strike rate was even better at Chelscum. If Lyndon scores 15 -20 a season I will be deliriously happy!
Question everything.

..just seen the line up for today's friendly and BOS is playing whereas Eze is not even on the bench.
Could that be a sign that he is on the way out ..?

Linked with Alfie Mawson as part of the Eze deal with Foolem.

Linked with Tom Lockyer from Charlton too

...that Carroll ?? The big guy - Andy.....or the small one - Tom...? Cos the big one at this level might still score some good goals...

I'd prefer Bettache over LTC and with any luck we should see Charlie Owens return to the squad in January. So I don't see an opening in the squad for LTC and there are plenty of other gaps to fill right now.
