Potters prediction

Post by Danish Ranger » Fri Feb 14, 2020 4:37 am

I sincerely hope that we will rediscover a little bit of the Cardiff/Swansea form and score a couple of goals

It will be close so I will go for a 2-1 win; Hugill and Eze from the spot

Given the forecasted wind and rain, and playing a team scrapping for its life, it's not going to be pretty. A 1-0 win with a second clean sheet in a row the highlight.

0-2 and stormy weather ahead, until we limp over the magic 50 points in late April.

With injuries to two wingers on top of that I fear you might be right. Every incentive for them to play defensively. Might be difficult for us to get through.

QPR 0 Met Office 3, I reckon.
I would think the rougher the weather, the more it would suit Stoke's more agricultural approach.
The storm may not be as strong as last week's but I did a pub crawl in it and was somewhat bedraggled at the end of it. Can't say I'm looking forward to tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

40+ winds tomorrow is going to make ground based possession all the more important IMO. Expect to see a lot of passing it around at the back I think.

Which with our Baresi and Costacurta based back 4 means a goal conceded within 20 minutes... we'll see.
