Hugill injured?

Post by ANDREW1302 » Fri Feb 07, 2020 7:49 am

Is rumour i heard. If so who will we play up front? Important 3 games coming up. Even one good result would help. 3 bad ones and things will look shakey. I am pretty amazed that the club left itself in this position. If Hugill is or were out for a while it would not look great.....

Yes I thought itwas a risk, too. I think we might play Bright Osayi Samuel up front, although personally I don't think it's worked out when we've tried it. Perhaps Oteh?
One option might be to play with a false 9 (Eze, maybe), but I don't think MW will do that.

We could wait and see if it is just a rumour?

Last time we played a false 9 it turned out rather well.

Warburton doesn't mention any fresh injury worries in his pre-match interview. Although he doesn't like to give much away, I suspect this rumour is just idle e-chatter.

2 goals per game conceded and no fit striker with more than 1 goal at championship level on the books? How many points will be required from the run in to guarantee survival?

The January business looks more and more like a potentially disastrous gamble with every passing day.

The penultimate fixture of season could be pivotal once more (home against Millwall).

One game out of the transfer window closing ....... need to give things a chance.

I see there was no instant return on the near £5m last night for Bristol City .....

Proper apocalyptic scenario there, based on an as yet unsubstantiated rumour. Good work.

Clarke looked decent in his cameo against Bristol city. Hopefully he can provide ammunition for hugill if he’s fit.

Deserves to start I reckon.

So Hugill starts, although my sources tell me it may just be a hologram.

Is Millwall still a must-win game ?

If that's the case, he probably won't get injured after all.
But he might not be so good at headers
