Official statement is now saying he is staying at QPR until the end of the season. Good news :)
Where have you seen this official statement?
Came up on twitter although admittedly I've not seen it on the website yet

well..just heard a "rumor" telling about Burnley interested in BOS and proposing a deal involving Wells + £ to bring BOS to Turf More
honestly I would rather lose Eze than BOS now....

Not a rumour, that potential deal being reported in the media now along with Sheffield United preparing a 12m bid for Eze.

With a little over 5 days to go there's going to be a lot more frenzied media reporting over Wells, BOS and Eze, particularly from the clickbait sites. I'm looking forward to seeing all three run out for QPR next Saturday.

Agree dm. If the clubs being mentioned were sides favourites for the drop from the Prem or favourites for promotion I would be more concerned.

Yeah bad news. Lee Hoos has stated on Offish we want to sign him but it doesn't sound like we will be able to compete financially. We need to get another centre forward in over the next few days now as a priority.

Sadly, I think you’re spot on White Duck.

There’s no chance that we can compete financially with Bristol City / Forest. It’s even worse that he was so keen to remain here.

Wonder how much Burnley want for him? And what wages he's on?

I also wonder if he fits our recruitment profile? I thought our whole thing now was buying players with resale value, his value will prob decrease (that's an assumption)

Wells situation a big test of if/how much #QPR as a club have progressed. Signs aren't good. Wanting to placate fans is classic Paladini-era response - better run clubs don't do it. And this is one they *should* step away from. Wells a Bosman or nominal-fee signing all day long.

B4 I get usual responses, see long list of populist signings that drew similar response when I said they were mistakes. Even 2 guys I really like, Cook and Mackie. Fickle game. Wells on fire but has ups & downs, is approaching 30 & QPR need to invest bit of money they have wisely

From Sky Sports: Nottingham Forest have also held initial talks with Burnley over a deal for Wells, who is understood to be valued at around £4m.

Steer clear at that price. A club is asking £4M for a player they want off the books if Forest or Bristol City are willing to be mugs then good luck to them.
