Uefa saying there’s nothing they can do as it was a friendly! What a joke!
If you had a million Shakespeares, could they write like a monkey?

Doesn’t say weather it was the opposition or the opposition fans..

Either way I think a better course of action would have been for our boys to weigh them in, call us animals we’ll f*cking act like one.

We did that once and nearly ended up going to war with China :)

I remember that it’s like the Chinese are born with fly kicking in there genes or Bruce lee type stuff flying through the air, where as we go weighing in with fists.

Or maybe the British just haven’t got the agility to kick flying through the air after 15 pints down the local boozer :D

It was both. They came off after consultation with Furlong.

The very first paragraphs says: “...the club’s Under 18s were forced to abandon a fixture owing to abuse from opposition players.

Wow that is shocking truly shocking, I rarely condone violence but if our boys had got stuck into them I’d have no problems with it whatsoever.

Suffice to say they took the only course of action.
Well done.

Understand the sentiment, but I can't be the only one who is glad this didn't descend into a brawl.
Good on the club for dealing with this in a calm and professional manner.

Thirded. Ok so UEFA cannot do anything as this was not a competitive match but it would have been nice if they had embellished their statement with; but if it had have been.....

I suspect that UEFA are on not top of this at all. They should be training referee's and officials on how to deal with this and have at least some protocols in place for when this happens in a competitive match.

From a teams point of view either the captain or manager speaks with the referee and if the abuse continues then you withdraw from the field of play.

Agree, I think it’s the most powerful message that racist abuse goes well beyond what might be acceptable on field ‘verbals’. Uefa typically spineless, this needs to happen at all levels of the game now. That said I wouldn’t hold it against any of them if they had kicked off.
