Has Naki Wells loan move from Burnley gone through?
Haven't seen anything on it?

There was a penalty clause in the contract, this was aparently missed by Nahki Wells' legal team.

Nice to have a second experienced striker on the books. Here's hoping he'll have better form under MW

Good to have him back, should do a better job under a decent manager this season.

Couldn't agree more. A couple of weeks to get on board with the program and I think we'll see a much better Nahki than the one we had last season.
It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope.

He didn't come on at all last season. It will be a make or break season for him. I hope he takes his chance.

9 goals is not to be sniffed at, especially as he didn’t play every game. As soon as you’re hitting 15 goals a season in the Championship then the big boys are sniffing around and I don’t think he’s too far away from that.

Pretty happy having a player back who wants to play for us like Cameron and Rangel .....

Seems some just can't get over Charlie joining the baggies today...

He's old news like Adel before him...
2019/2020.... Keep Calm, no matter the season, we'll follow our team.....

Watching the compilation of Wells' goals for us last season it struck me that even though he's right footed, he scored most of those goals with his left.

If both he and Jordan fire in the goals will give Warbs a pleasant headache ....

Based on last season I would much rather have Wells than Austin. I can't see Charlie getting anywhere near the level he was at when he was with us and for £4m + his Premier League wages it's a sizeable gamble by West Brom.

I’m scratching my head as to how the Manager has anything to do with a players technique? So we are now blaming Schteve for Wells crap finishing, I agree if our system presents Wells with more opportunities then he is likely to score more goals but I don’t think chances was the issue last season it was more his conversion rate, I like him but you’ll be hard pressed to find a player with a worse technique on striking a ball. Anything else we wanna blame Schteve for?

As for Austin (who’s not even a year older than Wells) 4m on a two year contract to a club that made nearly 30m in sales over the summer I think is worth a punt, I doubt he’s on half of what he was on at Saints & is there a better finisher in the Championship right now, if he stays fit he’s getting 20+, not sure where else you find that for 4m. Yes in our circumstances Austin is not a viable option but to a team the other end of the table I think it’s a decent bit of business.

It's good to have a scapegoat. Keeps things simple.

Personally I blame him for us not leaving the EU on 29th March. Clearly the club did too, as he was sacked the next working day.

Coincidence ? I think not.
