Odds on he will score against us this season.

Bad move, under rated & a different option.

We don’t have a recognised striker on the books now do we?

Seems unnecessary to me. I think I read that Warburton didn't rate him but Matt really offers a different option especially when we are losing.

Good luck Matt.

...not the best striker ever, BUT ..he was big and made a presence in the box especially on set pieces...fed with the right balls he could score

....I hope that the club has already a replacement in mind cos we have released or releasing all our last season's best goal scorers....

Yes, I agree. Always a great option as a sub if he's not picked in the starting eleven plus handy to bolster the backline if we are hanging on. There could he many such games in the coming season. I always liked him and wish him well apart from the matches he may play against us.
I was always puzzled when people said he “couldn't do 90 minutes” was it because he wasn't getting regular games ? You'd think in that case he'd be fresh.

Our loss is Millwall's gain. He was our best striker last season and was and would be a good Plan B option. I can't think of anyone in our price range who would do the job as well.

Will we ever find out why players move on much to the fans bemusement, coz that one is lost on me.

Never really a starter always had to work his way into a game yet chipped in with goals & assists on a regular basis.
