A deserved 3 points but boy do we need a lot of chances to convert into a goal or 2!

On to next season it is then!😊

Very good result and performance to end a mostly forgettable season. Need to sort out a penalty taker in the summer though  Have a nice summer break folks 8)

Wednesday 8 efforts on goal only 2 on target.

56% - 44% possession

A nice way to end the season, and goals from two players who will be important for us next season.

Eze misses a very poor penalty. Stop show boating and just strike the ball!
Why on earth let him take the penalty when Manning was available? Surely after the Wells debacle last week they should've learnt their lesson?
Agree. Eze has absolutely no effectiveness to his game whatsoever. The way he took the penalty is exactly the way he plays his game; just fannies about a bit.
Was that really how you saw Eze's game today? Apart from the penalty, I thought he looked the best player on the pitch. Yes, he needs to add some more incisiveness to his play, but his control, retention and use of the ball was second to none today.

Don't leave the board just yet Damien! We still have a manager to choose and discuss.😊

I see his potential DM but as of yet he doesn't have the complete skill set to make a difference at this level. He has to learn that he is a team player and that sometimes he should just do the simple things first.
The way he took the penalty was illustrative for his short comings. He took it like a school boy pretending to be Messi or Ronaldo. He really has to get the basics right first. He is young so hopefully he will grow next season and become an important player for us.

Agree Wegs. He has the talent alright - all he needs is a bit more, dare I say" Tarrabt attitude". This season will have taught him and the coaches a lot.

A Tarrabt attitude is a good way to put it; confidence might be another. He often looks caught in two minds and so doesn't release the ball quickly enough - hence not playing simply enough at times. With greater confidence he can be more inuitive, trusting his instincts.

What was nice to see today was the interplay between Eze and BOS. They are long standing friends and know each others games. Maybe a partnership that can reap future rewards.

Liking what I hear Dm. These youngsters have a the chance now the money has run out - let's see them grab the opportunity with both hands.

Always nice to beat Steve Bruce, they all become a tiny payback for Jan 96
