6 pointer

Post by White Duck » Sat Mar 09, 2019 7:48 pm

The game against Rotherham will decide whether we will be in a relegation fight for the rest of the season.

Ipswich and Bolton are too far behind us IMO. We are 10 points ahead of Rotherham so a win on Wednesday will be decisive and a draw will help. Lose though and we could potentially be dragged into a battle which based on our form this year we might struggle with.....

I don't think we will lose against Rotherham. A back four of Furs, Leistner, Lynch and Bids should be OK.
Come on you Sooopa ........

They have to try and win, so it should at least be a better spectacle for the long suffering supporters.

IKR It's like the days of sackcloth and ashes, accompanied by self flagellation never went away. BTW Geoff Cameron is available on Wednesday for selection.

Complacency is a bad thing.

Still: you hang around the ground to talk to the players so you must know better than everyone else.

Next season will likely be very tough, but I don’t see us having much to worry about this season. There’s more than enough there to keep us comfortable.

I'm in pretty much the same spot before every game so of course some of the players know who I am and don't mind chatting. FYI, I also ended up coaching in the Fan Zone yesterday for around 20 mins whilst the guy went for a leak and bit of nosebag  What does that make me?

If true I will feel a whole lot more confident.

We would definitely be fücked then. I was coaching some kids doing archery with jelly bows, as I am a Level 1 coach. :D Cameron did compliment me on my penalty taking last time I met him down there but I don't think QPR need bother sending scouts LOL

Well potentially we could, yes, and I'm sure the manager and players will be well aware of that.

We're not the only team that could get pulled into it though. Blackburn have lost 6 in a row, and will probably be thinking their game against Wigan on Tuesday is a big one too. If Birmingham get the significant points deduction being talked about for their FFP breach, they may well drop below us as well.

Which may even be added to after Grealish got assaulted on the pitch today by a Brum supporter.

We'll be fine.

SMc needs to make sure the team have fire fire in their bellies from the first whistle to the last.

A draw would be a good result, but I think if we are fired up, we will win.

They have won 2 of their last 14 (we have won 3 of ours), so, we just have the edge on the form guide.
