He is still under contract to Stoke for another year, I imagine that is playing a large part in what is happening. It would be nice to get him back on loan maybe for next year but I can't see us shelling out £17.5k a week again next season.
Is that what we're doing now?

He told me that QPR are paying half of his wages. I can't find the source where I originally saw the £35k pw. but for a player with over half a century of caps for his country and signed on a Premiership contract I can't imagine it is far away from that, especially when we know what QPR were paying when the TV revenue was lower.

Presumably, Hemed and Wells are on the same amount. Poor value really, even if their clubs are paying half.

There was a stat when I watched a rerun of a sky game, that of 9 games Cameron had started at that time, we had won 6. Now I know we can never directly compare the opposition, but it seems relatively clear.

We have been better WITH Cameron.

That, if true, would account for around the wages of around half the first team on match day :-(

I wouldn't expect either of them to be on as much as Cameron. Aren't Burnley notoriously parsimonious and Hemed is championship striker that found himself in the PL, so unless he had a bumper promotion clause in his contract then i can't believe he'd be on that much. I'm sure we're shelling out a fair bit on them though. Something i don't imagine we'll be able to do next season.

Hopefully all three are on subsidised salaries from their parent club, Cameron is the only one I know for sure.
