The wheels have really come off. That period before Xmas seems like it was just pasting over some real cracks now. We need to win the second half now, or the R word may not be as ridiculous as it sounds. Had a feeling we would underestimate Brum like we did Preston.

So, for me, the big question is: what has happened to us between our last win on Boxing day and now?
We lose our first 4 matches, then go on a great run and are now back to our very worst. How does that work?

At the game: what a shower of shyte. All of them way off the pace: defence has been torn to pieces, midfield creating nothing, forwards anonymous.
Gutless and clueless in the 1st half
Good news though: Cousins on at half time!

We seem even worse than we were in August. I know I'll probably get pelters for saying this, but we simply have too many players who are L1 standard (that's why they looked so comfortable against Pompey). We surprised ourselves and a few teams for a while (which was very nice) - but we have been found out again. We concede too many and don't score enough. The points in the bag and three worse than us ... should be enough. It could be a while till our next point mind you. Thought SMc really had something...not so sure now. He hasn't a lot to work with in his defence. Even if we do stay up, I think we'll drop next season without a stronger team/squad. Right got that off my chest - anyone for another "Newcastle"

Dare we believe? Smith may get a hat - trick and still be in the losing side.

Early goal in the second half, two for Matt Smith who is obviously causing them problems.
You just never know....
I can't believe Schteve didn't make an earlier substitution, was he as shell shocked as the team?

To confirm Leister and Cousins came on for Osayi-Samuel and Scowen.
We have gone to three at the back, Hall, Leister and Lynch with Furlong and Bidwell playing as wing backs.

At least we are putting some effort in now. 4 is probably too much. We just start matches so lethargically.
