I think we are fine for strikers as we only play one of them in the system SMc prefers. Hemed will be fit again soon and Smith is a decent option on the bench. Realistically Oteh would hardly play assuming Wells stays fit so playing regularly in League One should benefit everyone.
Hemed doesn't have the pace of Wells or Oteh so it would be quite a difference in how we play. It's a big ask for Wells and risk imo but obviously will suit Oteh and give us an idea of if he could be our first choice sooner rather than later.
If Wells was unfit I'd be more than happy with Hemed in his place: he offers a different kind of threat to Wells.
He does, and at the start of the season i'd have said Hemed and his back to goal is what we needed but I think we've looked a lot more dangerous with the pace of Wells leading the line.
As an aside, I imagine Wells will be plying his trade back at Huddersfield next season.

Burnley might have something to say about that.

Yes, i expect it will be to tell them how much they want for a player who's not worked out for them and entering the last year on his contract. Huddersfield will be back down but with a few quid and fond memories.

Sean Goss I suspect.

Not sure if he would go all that way not even knowing if Goss would be playing. We’ve got contacts in Scotland who could have reported on the game and anyway, what could he hope to learn with Goss playing his first game for his new club, struggling second bottom, against Celtic the League leaders. I saw most of the game and tried to follow Goss but unsurprisingly there wasn’t a lot to see. No reflection on him, just that’s how it was.
