Awkward tie that one. Would be good to get a result and go into the fifth round.

Could have been a lot worse.
Saturday 9th November 1968: QPR V Burnley in the First Division - I saw the Hoops for the first time and my obsession began!

Seems a lot depends on how many players big clubs rest (apart from Citeh). The leaders of the Championship rested loads. Hopefully the leaders of League One do the same.
Come on you Sooopa ........

Very difficult tie. The team is flying and they have a large and loud support. Wouldn't bet against them winning on their own patch if they play a full strength side.

That's not a bad draw: they'll be well up for it with a decent sized crowd and it should be a good competitive match.

And I'd be most interested in SM's views :D

As Devonranger said, this is a difficult one. Everything will be down to the management of the two clubs - whether they care about progressing, team selection etc. Could be exciting, but, it is difficult to be confident - away from home, against a high-flying team from the league below, backed by a vociferous crowd and a club who actually won the Cup 11 years ago.
It's simple. Score more goals than they do.

They do indeed have a very noisy crowd. I seem to remember claims that they had the best support in the leagues for getting behind their team. I wonder if that bloke with the tattoos and the bell still goes ?

A friend was at the Southend vs Portsmouth game in the Checkatrade Trophy - and he was one of the 188 who made the journey. Him and his bell.
