To put it into perspective ...

Post by ZENITH R » Sun Jan 06, 2019 7:00 pm

The last time we won a third round FA Cup match without needing a replay to do so was ....

6 January 1996 (23 years ago today)

We beat: Tranmere Rovers away 2-0 with goals from Sinclair and Quashie

We really have been rubbish in this competition.

That game was our 271st in the competition. Today was number 311

Of those 40 games - we have won: 8, drawn: 10, and lost: 23. You don't wan't to know about the goal difference.
Saturday 9th November 1968: QPR V Burnley in the First Division - I saw the Hoops for the first time and my obsession began!

Remember:
Growing old is inevitable.
Growing up is optional.

If I remember correctly. A very cold night up in Tranmere!
