Recurring Taarabt Rumour...

Post by SM » Thu Jan 03, 2019 10:50 am

The Sun running another story on Adel returning to QPR.

I’m puzzled how this can happen with the embargo, but it’s interesting that the story just won’t go away...

It's the original 'story' repeated, along with original Derry quote.

Neil Warnock and Cardiff should gamble on him, though I doubt they'd be able to match Adel's expectations on contract length or wages.

TF has just tweeted that there’s zero chance of it happening... That’s the end of that.

"What are the chances of adel coming back to @qpr. Zero. We know what we are building and we saw that at Aston Villla. Amazing hard work and team spirit."

He's not wrong. Shame to quash the rumour so early in the transfer window though!

It's the Uncle Tony intervention that bugs me.....

How about Amit saying it's bunkum?

For the best, but can’t say I’m not a little disappointed. Would have been fun.

If there is any benefit to the club, they should be doing due diligence on any player the way our finances are currently constrained. His salary should be enough to ensure that the club won't be taking him on.

Actually, I think there was a vacancy on the hot dog stand behind MU in the Upper Loft.

He'd be good working there,......

Why? Because an ex manager called him fat and you think he'd eat all the stock? Sound logic there.

Taarabt was one of my favourite players of all time, but that time has now passed. Onward, and hopefully upwards.

His time as an incredibly talented footballer with heaps of potential and an amazing career ahead of him has now passed. I think he'll run his contract down and try for a ££££s move to China or UAE but who would touch him now as he hasn't played any football for years. Self inflicted, but still a real shame.

I know that you know it was a tongue in cheek comment by SLF, but nice retort sir! 8)

Saw a few videos of him playing for Genoa last season and he looked pretty decent, 28 appearances and 2 goals so says Wiki.

But they didn't want him back this season or couldn't afford him.

I wouldn't want him back and I suspect if he heard this rumour he would crack a rib laughing.

I do think he would form a dynamic partnership with Jr Hoilett.

Nope, wasn't meant in jest, just that he's a lazy bastard who's picked up money for doing bugger all for the last what? 3 years. Working a shift on Minimum pay alongside those that have to, to try and make ends meet might knock a bit of sense into him.

OK wonderful in little phases for us, but really, Non team player, lazy, can't tackle, can't head a ball, terrible work ethic if one at all, indifferent, talent waster, time waster, high maintenance.......

more to the point who would you drop from the current 1st team to play in their place.

Move on, please
