He really did seem like he would have been a good young manager to attract to Loftus Road but his record says otherwise now. Looks like we dodged a bullet, in the same way as we did with Tim Sherwood.

Whatever happened to Tim Sherwoods managerial career? plenty of Jobs have come up, maybe he’s just aiming too high.

One of the greatest minds in football has had to stoop to the depths of league 2. I would have thought someone would take him.

Funnily enough, I was at a Christmas Party at our NYC supporters club venue on Monday and was speaking with a Reading fan about Clement. He actually thought Clement was doing an OK job under difficult circumstances, but it was instability of ownership over the previous seasons and poor management of the club at executive level rather than the manager that was the real issue and all in all the club is in a bit of a state.

It will be interesting to see how they do and if a new manager can cut through the problems.

Poor old Clement may have been a victim of circumstance at Reading
