Thanks for that. I'm sorry I haven't studied the detailed plans!

I'm surprised, then, that the anti-Rs group vehemently insist that there will be limited public benefits to the local people - I guess they can't have read them, or just interpret them differently. I'm not surprised that Ealing Council are onside, as it clearly gets them off the hook of actually spending council tax on the community. The club definitely needs this facility by all accounts, however, and has done for some time, so it's great news from our point of view.

Just don't mention the new ground (and it might go away)! ;-)
I think the general assumption is that the anti’s are either Brentford fans, football haters or possibly both.

When all councils are stretched on finances for critical services then any private investment that provides any facilities is guaranteed to be of interest. As much as I dislike Ealing council for many reasons on this I think they’ve been smart in being so supportive. Let’s hope it delivers quickly now.

Waiting for the FL to change FFP to include spending on infrastructure
Always look on the bright side, eh John ?
Not looking at any side bright or otherwise just my view of the FL.

Thought it did not need stating but just to be clear great news for the club
