Cameron

That's Geoff, not David.

Coming off with a bit of hammy last Friday, Geoff 'Make America Great Again' Cameron is 50/50 for this Saturday. So who should come in for him?

Should it be Scowen? Probably the most obvious replacement. I don't think so. He's a useful player but Cameron's physical presence has shown what he can't give the team.

Could it be Hall? He'd probably be the automatic choice if he was 100% match ready. Sadly, he won't be yet.

Will it be Cousins? He's got the physical attributes. He's been improving this season. SMc seems to like him. I'd say play him.

Goss?

That's a sensible idea

I'd put Scowen back in: he seemed well up for it last Friday and deserves a start over Cousins IMO. Though hopefully Cameron will be fit.

Hall if he's fit. He's the most suited to the role. Scowen seems increasingly less disciplined than the player we saw when he first came. I'd start him over Cousins though. I'd be amazed if SMC wants to take a punt on Goss.

It would be great if Hall could step in but he's hardly had any minutes on the field yet this season so cannot imagine he'd last a whole game.

I'd probably go with Scowen. Yeah he's been a bit off at the moment, but I think he offers more defensive cover and grit than Cousins.
Not a fan of Hall playing DM at all.

Oh, I don't know. I reckon Hall could give me a game if I went easy on him.

Rumour has it, he's not the best on a pool table.

Really? i thought he was very good there. Imo we'd have been relegated had Holloway not played him there and we nearly were when he moved him. He does a very similar role to Cameron and given that he's ours and our CB partnership is doing well, i'd like to see him get his chance and ideally keep the place.

Scowen seems intent on pushing further forward these days. We need genuine cover. He seems to have got a bit of a taste for hitting shots from distance as well, to little success. He also seems like a walking red at the moment. I've no idea what happened tbh.

He's been a great signing: credit to the scouts and management.

It makes you wonder what Rowett was thinking when he allowed Cameron to join us on a season long loan. Stoke are currently 4 places below us with 3 less points and 1 goal more conceded.
